As a beginner blogger, you might feel the temptation to distribute your writings to all the sources you can find. This include hubpages, squidoos, knols, and even your own blogs. You need to resist the urge to do so. When you duplicate your own posts, you are essentially telling the search engines that you are spamming your articles all over the public space.
In most situations, only your first post will be marked as original. All the rest will be marked as duplicate which will get downgraded in search engine rankings.
Therefore, when you duplicate your own posts, you are essentially wasting your time because all your duplicates will get little to none search engine traffic. So as a blogger, always stick to one site that you are familiar with, build upon it to make as much money as possible. Refrain from duplicating your own articles on many resources because this activity is a high investment and low return one.
