Stats are important in Mighty Pirates. You need to be careful when you first start the game. Once you start putting points in your Mighty Pirates character, you cannot turn those points back unless you spend real life facebook credits.
Based on my initial game play, having different builds will effect how your character is acted during the battle stage.
Attack: Your attacks will result in a higher attack of the attack range.
Defense: Your defense will recover more health will recover health and putting out fire.
Accuracy: The action will increase overall accuracy during firing.
Depending on the mateys that you have hired, you should focus your character with one of the stats. Not many people use this strategy at the beginning, so what I recommend is for you to go with Accuracy because most people add Attack points.
